Immigration Services

Besides our expatriate tax services, correct legal immigration advice is also crucial for expats living and working in the Netherlands. To address this need, Taxpat’s Immigration Services advises companies and their employees (as well as their family members) on employment and residency issues in the Netherlands.

We provide the following services:

Knowledge migrant procedure:

  • One-time registration of a Dutch company at the IND’s knowledge migrant desk;
  • Applications for the issuance of a visa (called: “MVV”) as a knowledge migrant;
  • Applications for a residence permit applicant as a knowledge migrant;
  • Applications for residence permits for partners and minor children of a knowledge migrant.

Separate work and residence permit:

  • Applications for the issuance of a MVV;
  • Applications for work permits;
  • Applications for residence permits connected to employment, reuniting with family members et cetera;
  • Applications for residence permits for partners and minor children;
  • Applications for extensions of the aforementioned permits.

Additional immigration advisory:

  • Advice on several immigration procedures;
  • Advice on the registration in the municipality system;
  • Advice on obtaining a personal fiscal number (called: “BSN” or “Burger Service Nummer”).

We will work with you to determine the optimal immigration solution. Being an integrated part of Taxpat, the team will also spot potential tax risks at an early stage. Furthermore, we will propose tax savings such as a timely application for the Dutch 30%-ruling (please refer to “Dutch 30% Ruling” section).

Taxpat has been chosen as one of the partners of the Expatcenter Amsterdam, owing to our professional approach and expertise. As a partner of this government institution, we work in close cooperation to better meet the needs of Dutch employers as well as foreign individuals.
